Trade Agreement Samples

Welcome to the Trade Agreement Samples section. Here you will find anonymized examples of real commodity sales agreements that Skyocean signs with buyers around the world.

These samples illustrate how off-chain legal contracts connect to our on-chain business logic:

1. Agreement Signed – Seller and Buyer execute a traditional commodity sales contract (the samples you see here).
2. ERP Upload – The final PDF is uploaded into our ERP system where key fields are extracted.
3. Knowledge Asset Creation – The ERP record is transformed into a Knowledge Asset (KA) on the OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG).
4. Smart Contract Deployment – A lightweight Polygon smart contract is created that references the KA and enforces the commercial terms (payment deadlines, document verification milestones, financier rewards, etc.).
5. Ongoing Traceability – All subsequent documents (Bills of Lading, SGS certificates, payment receipts) are attached to the KA and their hashes are anchored on-chain. Every event is cryptographically verifiable and publicly auditable.

Why share these samples? We want importers, financiers, and regulators to see exactly how a conventional trade flow maps to our Web3 stack — making each transaction transparent, traceable, and tamper-evident.

Available Samples (Generic Templates)

These are generic structural templates showing what a Skyocean trade agreement looks like in each commodity category. Specific trade samples — with realistic operational data, party identifiers, and financing breakdowns — are maintained internally and shared directly with investors, counterparties, and partners through the appropriate channels.
