Messaging Guidelines
Use These Terms
- “Trade-cycle financing” (for the participation mechanism)
- “Lock SKYT into a cycle’s smart contract” (for token actions)
- “Financing return” (for what holders earn per cycle)
- “DKG-verified completion” (for what triggers release)
- “Capital protection” (only when paired with “contract-enforced” — never as a freestanding promise)
- “Hybrid platform” (crypto-native financing on top of traditional commodity trading)
- “Skyocean executes as principal” (for our role)
Avoid These Terms
- Lending terminology (loan, lend, interest, APR)
- Yield / APY / “earn yield”
- “Staking” or “stake-for-period” (the lock is per-cycle, not per-period)
- “Tier” / “Tier-based rewards” (no tiers in the current model)
- “Profit-sharing” / “Performance-based rewards distributed from trade outcomes” (legacy 2024 framing — the financing return is set per cycle, not contingent on downstream margin)
- Investment solicitation language
- “Guaranteed returns” (capital protection is contract-enforced, but we don’t claim guaranteed returns)
